Apple Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow’s Little Girl, Fashion for Kids

We don’t mean Apple the company, but Apple Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow’s little girl. This adorable little girl has long blonde locks and the cutest little translucent eyebrows. Hair aside, this little gal also has quite the fashion sense. So the question is, “What IS Apple Wearing?”

First of all, her clothes generally have very simple patterns. They are usually in a simple, single color with

Dresses. Apple’s dresses are a little bit on the short side. Not to the point of indecency, but to the point that even if they’re a little bit more fitted, she won’t trip. She is frequently seen pairing rather simple dresses with a pair of colorful tights. Her dresses are loose and not restricting in any way.

Shoes. Unlike some, Apple is frequently featured wearing ballet flats or flats with a strap. These are extremely simple shoes that prevent her from tripping or from having any other restrictions. She can run, hop, and jump in these shoes without getting hurt or anything else of that nature.

Shirts. Apple’s shirts are very comfortable. These are also shirts that she can run in play in.

If you look at Apple’s wardrobe, you notice that she is comfortable, dressed very neatly and attractively and she doesn’t have to worry about tripping over any of her skirts. She isn’t being dressed older than her age, but very age appropriate and also very adorable. This little girl is very well dressed. And all that she has are a few solid colors, and very small patterns. Photo Copyright of PR PHOTOS

Common Fashion Mistakes That Girls Make

Common Fashion Mistakes That Girls Make

There are universal fashion slip-ups that do happen even to the best of them. If you are observant enough you will notice them even on your very chic, very stylish boss at one time or the other. And without being conscious of it, you too have may have committed the same slip-ups even when you try your best to look your best. What can spoil a very well-put- together appearance more than a bad fit, or a bra strap peeping out of your shoulder, or a panty – line on your immaculate white pants. Here is a list of these universal fashion slip-ups that you need to watch out for:

Every Girl Can Look Stylish

A bad fit
In your desire to look slimmer, you go out and buy a dress, pants or top a size smaller than your actual size. This is a disaster since the bad fit will not really give you that slimmer look, in fact it may even emphasize the bulges that you are trying to hide. The key to looking good in any clothes is a good fit.

Your strap is showing
This is a common slip-up that most women don’t even notice. It usually will take another person to point out that bra strap peeping out of a neckline. If you are wearing a top with a wide neckline make sure to anchor those bra straps with a pin. If it’s a top with a spaghetti strap then wear a strapless bra. A bra strap peeping out of a neckline is unsightly.

Creased clothes
What can totally destroy the beauty of a dress or suit than wrinkles and unironed creases. Always keep a flat iron handy and swipe that suit or dress before putting it on. If you are averse to ironing then buy clothes made of wrinkle free materials.

Busy prints and patterns
In an effort to look trendy or fashionable, some women want to wear everything all at once, mixing and matching prints and patterns that don’t really mix and match. When wearing a patterned dress or outfit try to limit it to one patterned or printed item only. Having too many prints and patterns make you look too busy and sometimes gaudy

Too many colors
Summer is the season for colors but wearing too many different colors all at once will make you look like a rainbow. Try to limit your colors to two or three and be sure that they harmonize or blend well.  Photo Copyright of PR PHOTOS

Girls Fashion, The 1970s Fashion Style Revisited

Girls Fashion, The 1970s Fashion Style Revisited

The spring & summer collection for 2011 is all about the fashion style of the 70s, from wide – leg pants, platform sandals to peasant blouses, they are all back and gaining a lot of favor and popularity from the girls and the women of today. Drifty semi-transparent and sheer dresses, sinuous maxi dresses, elegant fancy flairs and flounced carnival outfits evoked the spirit of the 70s.

The 1970s nostalgia made used of a lot of flowery prints, from flighty pinhead patterns to very big exotic flowers in washed silk, viscose, Chinese silk charmeuse, organza, silk and chiffon for that light and airy summer dress. Frothiness and translucence characterized and emphasized the mood of the 70s fashion style particularly in the chiffon and voile graceful dresses. Even the ethereal light-as-air draped tops and rippling hemline kimono blouses of differing lengths have found their place in the 2011 summer trends.

What is interesting about the 2011 summer fashion trend is the contrast of well-defined unconventional dresses against fluttering chiffon and lace see-through dresses of the 70s fashion style. The effect is an ultra feminine enchanting fancy dress of long ago. Diminutive tucks and pleats around the cuffs and the neckline on dresses and tops add a prudish prissy air. Owning that flowing cool peasant blouse is heaven sent because it is exactly what the 2011 summer fashion is all about. Now this very versatile but totally breezy top can be incorporated in a lady’s gypsy look and be right up there at the top of what is trendy and stylish.

In addition to the florals and sheer translucent fabrics, what adds color to the 2011 summer fashion trends are dazzling luxurious colors that bring to mind scorching souks and colorful nomad fabrics and tents. Multi-colored scarves, hats, tassels and fringes are an effortless way to achieve that 70s retro look for the 2011 summer fashion trend.
