Leather Skirts for Spring 2012
One of the most welcomed fashion trend for 2012 is the leather skirt. Leather skirt is back, and how! The leather skirt for spring 2012 is more tailored and has well-defined detailing like metal hoops or contrast stitching that are real attention –getter. It is a very easy to wear outfit and it shapes itself to the wearer’s body.

A classic leather skirt is the kind of leather skirt that will last you almost a lifetime. What makes it classic is its basic cut, which is a traditional pencil skirt as well as the color and type of leather. It is typically black and made of soft leather.
Leather skirts come in all kinds of length – miniskirts, knee-length skirts, or full- length skirts. The choice of length is dependent on your own personal preference. Leather miniskirts are great for casual wear and perfect paired with tight shirts and sweaters. It also looked good worn with patterned tights. Longer leather skirts are best for formal occasions.

Leather skirts also come in different style – with audacious slits either at the back or on the sides, a high-waist leather skirt, an A-line leather skirt, a leather skirt with an elastic waist band or leather skirts with zipper in front. Any leather skirt style will surely add dazzle and glitz.
In selecting the length and style of a leather skirt, be sure to take into consideration your body size and needs. Just as any miniskirt or micro mini is best worn by women 25 years old and under, so is a leather miniskirt.
Avoid pairing a leather skirt with another leather clothing item such as a leather jacket. It is best worn with a clothing item with a contrasting texture such as a slinky silk halter top, ribbed sweater, cashmere or cotton knit top with a scoop neck or a simple white blouse.
